Brown’s Apple

Brown’s Apple is another example of a must-have cider apple. Grown most often in England, Brown’s Apple is uniquely useful for cidermakers due to it’s high sugar content. Instead of using eating apples to add natural sugars to cider, Brown’s Apple is not very tasty to eat. Instead, pressing this apple for its cider and blending it with less sweet apples adds the vital sugar content needed for a great cider.
